One of my goals and wishes in 2013 was to find time to read more and I couldn’t have picked a better book to kick start that. The Power of Habit – Why We Do What We Do In Life And Business by Charles Duhigg is really an eye opener – I’m half way through and already it’s been very informative. It sounds so simple, right? Just stop doing it and you’ll break the habit. But how do we stop doing it and how do we “trick” our brains and ourselves to go down a different path than what we’re used to? This book helps you identify and recognize the cues that trigger you into your habit and helps you understand why we do the things we do and how to change it once and for all. It’s fascinating.
If you’re looking for something to help you stick to your resolutions and help you improve your life and business, I do recommend checking out The Power of Habit. :)
P.S. Did you know you can get audio books and e-book downloads from the Los Angeles Public Library? Since I’ve discovered this, I’ve been downloading books to my iPad as well as audio books to my iPhone to listen to while I go on my walks with Bruno. Support your public libraries! ;)
P.P.S. This is not a sponsored post. I’m loving this book so I wanted to share it with you.
